Privacy Policy

Plain English, for the Guaranteed Contacts app and this website. Last updated October 8, 2026.

The short version

Guaranteed Contacts doesn't sell your information, show ads, or track you. Your contacts, call history and photos stay on your phone. Only two things ever leave it: a lookup of your line's setup, and a support ticket when you choose to send one.
  • No ads, no analytics, no tracking. The app contains no advertising, analytics or crash-reporting services.
  • Your contacts and call history are used on your phone only — to let you dial and to show Recent Calls. They are never uploaded.
  • You choose what to send. A support ticket is sent only when you tap Send to Support.
  • This policy covers the Guaranteed Contacts app for iPhone and Android, and this website.

Who we are

Guaranteed Contacts™ is published by Telephoria, LLC, doing business as Cool Telecom (“Cool Telecom”). The app is a dialer for business phone systems: it places your call through your office phone system so your business number shows up for the person you're calling.

What stays on your phone

The app keeps the following in its private storage on your phone. None of it is uploaded, synced, or shared:

  • Your contacts, which the app reads so you can dial anyone with one tap, and the photos and names it shows on incoming calls.
  • Your call history (on Android), which the app reads to build the Recent Calls list, together with the numbers you dial through the app.
  • Your line setup: each line's phone number, feature code, PIN and pause settings, plus your office's extension list and call-flow codes.
  • Your settings (wallpaper, theme, preferences) and any unfinished support-ticket draft.

Uninstalling the app removes all of it. You can also delete a single line from its options (long-press the line button).

What the app sends

1. Looking up your line's setup

When you scan a setup QR code or refresh your extensions, the app asks Cool Telecom's configuration server (config.coolpbx.com) for your line's setup file, using your line's phone number. The server sends back your office's extension names and call-flow codes. Like any web server, it sees ordinary connection details such as your IP address, the time, and your device type.

2. Support tickets — only when you send one

If you tap Send to Support, the app sends: the topic and message you wrote; your name and email; your line setup (including each line's phone number, feature code, PIN and pause settings) and when each line last synced; the app version and your phone type (iPhone or Android); and, if you leave Include call log ticked, the details of your last dial attempt. The ticket goes to Cool Telecom's help desk and is used only to diagnose your problem and reply to you. Your contacts are never included.

3. Your calls

Calls are placed over your phone's normal cellular connection (on iPhone, by the Phone app) — never over the internet. Guaranteed Contacts does not record your calls and never uploads audio. Your office phone system, like any phone system, keeps its own call records, and your office may record calls according to its own policies; ask your office manager.

Permissions and why the app asks

You can turn any permission off at any time in your phone's settings. The app then works with fewer features.

  • Contacts — so you can dial anyone with one tap.
  • Camera — only to scan your setup QR code. It never takes photos or records video, and it opens only when you choose to scan.
  • Phone (Android): place calls, answer calls, and see call state — so the app can dial through your office and show the call screen. The app asks to be your Phone app only while it is open.
  • Call log (Android) — to show Recent Calls.
  • Microphone — for the short dial-in prompts the app plays while a call connects, and for an optional test tone during troubleshooting. Live call audio is never recorded or uploaded; any test recording stays on your phone.
  • Notifications and full-screen alerts (Android) — to show incoming calls and the in-call controls.
  • Location (iPhone) — requested only if the system itself requires it while placing a cellular call. The app does not collect or store your location.
  • Internet — for the setup lookup and support tickets described above.

Sharing and selling

Guaranteed Contacts will never sell, rent or trade your information, and contains no advertising or analytics services. Information is shared only as follows:

  • Cool Telecom's own systems — the configuration server and help desk described above, which Cool Telecom operates.
  • Your office phone system — the calls you place through it are handled by it, under your office's own arrangements with its telephone provider.
  • When the law requires it, such as a valid legal request.

Security

Setup lookups and support tickets travel over encrypted (HTTPS) connections. Your line details are kept in the app's private storage on your phone, which other apps cannot read. No method of storage or transmission is perfectly secure, so please use your phone's screen lock.

Keeping and deleting your information

  • On your phone: delete a line from its options, or uninstall the app to remove everything.
  • Support tickets: kept in Cool Telecom's help desk for as long as needed to help you and to fix the underlying problem. To have a ticket and your contact details deleted, open a Data Deletion request ticket (the subject is filled in for you). The steps are on the Delete your data page.
  • Server logs: the configuration server and this website keep ordinary access logs for security and troubleshooting.

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to ask what information is held about you, to correct it, or to have it deleted. Open a ticket as described above and Cool Telecom will respond.

Children

Guaranteed Contacts is a business tool and is not directed to children under 13. It does not knowingly collect information from children.

This website

guaranteedcontacts.com does not use cookies, advertising, or analytics, and does not ask you for personal information. The server keeps ordinary access logs (IP address, pages requested, time). The demo video is hosted on this site, and the page does not load content from third-party trackers. Links to the App Store, Google Play and the Cool Telecom help desk lead to services with their own privacy policies.

Changes to this policy

Cool Telecom may update this policy as the app changes. The date below shows when it was last revised, and material changes will be noted in the app's release notes.
