Beta
Report a problem
You can open a tech support ticket without leaving the app. Please use it, early and often.
Guaranteed Contacts is in beta — and we expect you to find bugs.
If anything at all looks wrong, send a ticket every time. A dropped call, a missing extension, a confusing screen, something that just feels off — no problem is too small. Tech support reads every report, and every report you send gets fixed for everyone.
Why you should always report it
- You may be the only one who has hit it. If you don't tell tech support, it can't be fixed.
- It takes about a minute, right inside the app. No email, no phone call, no hunting for an address.
- The details come with it. The ticket carries your line settings, sync status, app version, phone type and (if you leave the box ticked) the last dial log — so you don't have to explain the technical side.
- Don't assume it's already known. Duplicate reports are welcome; they help us see how many people are affected.
How to send a ticket
Open Settings, then Contact Tech Support
Tap the Settings tab at the bottom of the screen and tap the gold Contact Tech Support button.
Choose a topic and describe what happened
Pick Dialing issue, Extension sync, Contacts or Something Else (which asks for a short subject). Then tell us what you did, what you expected, and what actually happened. The number you dialed, the line you used and the time of day are all useful.
Leave "Include call log" ticked, check your contact details, and send
Your name and email are remembered for next time. Tap Send to Support and wait for the Ticket Sent confirmation. If you leave the screen before sending, your draft is saved.
The app may offer to help, too
Some problems make the app ask you directly:
- "Extension List Unavailable" — tap Let Tech Support Know. Your existing extensions keep working in the meantime.
- "Call Failed?" — after a call that ended almost immediately, tap YES, Please to try a troubleshooting step (it makes the dialing pauses longer, which is easy to undo). If it keeps happening, send a ticket anyway.
What is sent, and what isn't
A ticket includes your message, your name and email, your line settings and when each line last synced, the app version and your phone type — plus the last dial log if you leave that box ticked. Guaranteed Contacts doesn't send your contacts, and nothing else leaves your phone. The app's privacy statement is linked right on the ticket form.
If the ticket won't send
A "Ticket not sent" message usually means your phone has no connection. Your text is saved as a draft, so reconnect and tap Send to Support again. Still stuck? You can also open a ticket on the Cool Telecom website.

Help
Most problems are one of these.
I don't have a QR code.
Ask your office manager, or contact Cool Telecom support. You can enter your line by hand instead: tap Enter Manually on the welcome screen, or long-press a line and choose Edit Manually. You'll need the phone number (DID), feature code and PIN from your office.
The call connects but I hear a menu or a password prompt.
That's the office system logging you in. On Android the app covers it with hold music; on iPhone, don't press any digits — your phone dials them for you. If the call keeps failing, the app offers Call Failed? → Extend all pause lengths, or rescan your QR code in case your PIN changed.
My contacts aren't showing.
In the app, open Settings and tap the Contacts row under Permissions to jump to your phone's settings, allow Contacts, then reopen the app.
Android: "App was denied access to be default Phone app."
This only happens when installing from a file. Settings → Apps → Guaranteed Contacts → ⋮ → Allow restricted settings, then try again.
Installing from a file (APK) on Android
Download the file, open it, and allow "install from this source" when asked. Then follow the "Allow restricted settings" step above.
Does Guaranteed Contacts read or sell my contacts?
No. Guaranteed Contacts will never upload, share, or sell your contacts, and only dials when you tell it to.
